Cancellation & Refund policy

At NomiGo, we understand that travel plans can change. This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, future trip credits, and itinerary changes. By confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms.

1. Cancellation by the Traveller

All cancellations must be submitted in writing through NomiGo's official communication channels. The cancellation period is calculated from the date NomiGo receives the request to the scheduled departure date.

  • 31 days or more before the departure = 75%

  • 15 - 30 days before the departure = 40%

  • 8 - 14 days before the departure = 20%

  • 7 days of less prior to departure = No refund

Refunds are calculated based on the applicable tier, payments received, the non-refundable deposit, and any non-recoverable costs committed to third-party suppliers.

Non-Refundable Deposit: The booking deposit is non-refundable under normal circumstances. However, in minor or exceptional cases, NomiGo may, at its discretion, issue the deposit as a credit towards a future trip, valid for three (3) months from the original scheduled departure date. Approval depends on the circumstances, cancellation timing, proximity to departure, and costs already incurred. This exception is not guaranteed and requires written approval from NomiGo. The credit is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, subject to applicable law.

2. Refunds & Future Trip Credits

Approved traveller cancellations will generally be issued as future trip credits rather than cash refunds.

  • Validity: Six (6) months from the original scheduled departure date.

  • Usage: Applicable to eligible NomiGo trips booked within the validity period, subject to availability and any price difference.

  • Transferability: Credits belong to the original booking holder and are non-transferable unless NomiGo agrees otherwise in writing.

  • Expiry: Unused credits expire at the end of the validity period and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.

  • The three-month deposit credit in Section 1 is an exception to the standard six-month validity period.

If NomiGo expressly approves a cash refund, it will be processed by bank transfer, not through the original payment method. The traveller must provide accurate bank details. Processing times and applicable bank charges may vary.

3. Add-On Activities & Services

Refunds for optional activities, excursions, airport transfers, accommodation extensions, and other additional services are assessed individually, based on supplier terms, cancellation timing, and recoverable costs. Approved refunds will generally be issued as future trip credits unless NomiGo agrees otherwise in writing.

4. Cancellation by NomiGo

If NomiGo cancels a trip for reasons within its reasonable control, travellers will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and offered either a refund of payments received for the cancelled trip via bank transfer or an alternative NomiGo trip or departure date, subject to availability and mutual agreement.

Force majeure cancellations are handled under Section 5.

5. Force Majeure

NomiGo shall not be held responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters or severe weather.

  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or security threats.

  • Government restrictions, border closures, or travel advisories.

  • Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies.

  • Major transport disruptions beyond NomiGo's reasonable control.

  • Other unforeseen events making the trip unsafe, unlawful, or impracticable.

In such circumstances, NomiGo may modify, postpone, suspend, or cancel affected arrangements as reasonably necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and communicate available options, which may include an alternative itinerary, rescheduled departure, or future trip credit.

Refunds will depend on the circumstances, recoverable supplier payments, and applicable law. Deposits and non-recoverable costs may remain non-refundable to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. No-Shows & Early Departure

Travellers who miss scheduled transport, fail to arrive at the designated meeting point, withdraw after the trip begins, or choose not to participate in scheduled activities are generally not eligible for refunds for unused services. Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually, subject to supplier terms and applicable law.

7. Itinerary Changes

NomiGo may make reasonable itinerary changes due to weather, safety concerns, transport disruptions, supplier availability, or other operational circumstances. Suitable alternatives will be considered where possible. Changes to individual activities do not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire trip.

8. Refund Processing

Approved cash refunds will be processed by bank transfer after the refund amount is confirmed and the required bank details are received. Processing times, international transfer fees, and currency conversion may vary. Applicable charges will be communicated where relevant.

9. Travel Insurance

NomiGo strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, baggage loss, and other relevant risks. Coverage is subject to the insurer's terms and exclusions. Travellers are responsible for reviewing their policy and submitting eligible claims to their insurer.
